Is there a high (higher than in the general population) incidence of dwarfism in the Amish community?

I don't know about overall, but there is an amish dwarf that lives at the end of my road. (I don't know if he's single or married with children, I only see him walking alone.)

Ellis-van Creveld Syndrome is common in the Old Order Amish Community of Eastern Pennsylvania. This is because of a few basic genetic principles:
    - Founder effects - the first Amish nuts that founded the community might have had an above average frequency of carriers of the recessive gene
    - This was enhanced by multiple rounds of inbreeding and isolation from the rest of the world
    - Also, being a small population, natural genetic drift may have occurred (just randomly) to increase the frequency of the recessive gene

In summation, stop having sex with your brother's mother and keep your hands off my woman mother fucker
